GameWorks Employee Auditions Run Jan. 27-29 at the Seattle Center

SEATTLE - Jan. 24, 1997 - Who says never put on an act while interviewing? Now your stage skills could give you a shot at becoming a member of the cast of Seattle's newest entertainment venue - GameWorks(TM). 

Opening soon in downtown Seattle's East Meridian Complex, GameWorks is looking for team players who like to work hard and play hard. In its search for high-energy employees with the right stuff - a good rap and lots of personality - GameWorks Seattle has scheduled its first employee screening. From Monday, Jan. 27 through Wednesday, Jan. 29, anyone with a flair for entertaining is welcome to apply for one of the 200 planned positions.

"We're confident that GameWorks Seattle won't have a problem finding qualified applicants in a town known for the best entertainment and high-tech culture," said Michael Montgomery, Sega GameWorks president and COO. 

Interviews for local game hosts, internet hosts, retail sales associates, cooks and kitchen help, cashiers, servers, technicians, maintenance and video jockeys (VJs) will take place on Jan. 27 - 29 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Northwest Rooms across from Key Arena at the Seattle Center. 

Under the visionary guidance of Steven Spielberg, the GameWorks design team is combining the entertainment industry's best technology and theme park scale to create a high energy world for young adults. At GameWorks, visitors can play games together and socialize in an incredibly diverse atmosphere.
