GLEN COVE, NY--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--November 13, 2001

Arcade Truck Driving Game Ships for PlayStation(R)2 Computer

Entertainment System

Hauling next-generation arcade truck driving action home for this holiday season, Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ.SC: AKLM) today announced that it has shipped 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker(TM) for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system. Already a coin-op sensation, 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker(TM) puts players behind the wheel of a 60-foot long, 20-ton, 18-wheel big rig as they haul tail from New York to California and everywhere in between.

"18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker(TM) combines great graphics, exciting game play and humor to deliver an outrageous arcade driving experience that is sure to appeal to the masses this holiday season," said Evan Stein, vice president of Brand.

Developed by SEGA-AM2 and converted from the Sega Dreamcast(TM) version of the game released earlier this year, 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker(TM) features arcade and two-player split-screen modes; five larger-than-life drivers to choose from; six mini games; and four different raceways. In addition, players can catch all the action from multiple camera angles while they avoid unexpected obstacles and taunt other drivers via their CB radio.

18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker(TM) is currently available for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system at a suggested retail price of $49.99. For more information regarding Acclaim's entire 2001 holiday season lineup, visit www.acclaim.com.
