Psycho Pinball is a pinball game developed by Atoll Soft and published by Codemasters for the Sega Mega Drive (and DOS-based computers). The game was only released in Europe and Australia, however a US version was advertised by GameTek, which never materialised.
Psycho Pinball is a 2D pinball game with four tables. Similar to many of its 16-bit rivals at the time, tables are presented from a top-down perspective with vertical scrolling, and broadly attempts to emulate the look and feel of real pinball tables as they were seen in the early 1990s.
With the default controls, launches the ball, controls the left flipper and controls the right flipper. By pausing with , the player can freely scroll up and down with and to see the whole table.
Psycho is unique in that it allows players to access the three other tables as sub-games.
