The 1994-08-12 build of Ristar is a prototype build of Ristar for the Sega Mega Drive. It was released by drx during the February 23rd, 2008 proto release.
This is the first of two known prototypes for the International localisation of the game. Most graphical changes have already been made, though there are numerous text differences including an early draft of the opening narration. Interestingly, Ristar was to be localised as "Dexstar".
