Sega Gold Collection is a budget label given to re-released Sega Mega Drive games in Australia. Unlike most other budget labels, games released under this label would often be paired with silver-coloured plastic, making some of these titles valuable collectors items.
The requirements to receive this label are currently unknown, though for later games the Sega Platinum Collection label was used.
