This teeny-tiny article needs some work. You can help us by expanding it.

Sega Players Enjoy Club (SPEC) was a newsletter service (later full-blown magazine) offered by Sega of Japan. Eight issues were released (technically eleven thanks to the existence of a prelude edition, "SPEC 0", the "half-issue", "SPEC 7.5", and the "1993 extra" edition) exclusively in Japan. As well as detailing upcoming games SPEC features interviews of developers and even suggests ways to "modify" your Sega Mega Drive.
