Shoji Katsuragawa (桂川 昇治) is a programmer at Sega of Japan and the release manager for the Yakuza series, a position he has held since Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Katsuragawa first joined Sega under Amusement Vision, where his first project, F-Zero AX/GX, saw him as part of a 4-person team create patented technology concerning the game's character customization features[1].
