Taihei Sato

Taihei Sato, also known as Taihei Satoh, Taihey Sato and tai-hey, is a Japanese video game music composer and sound designer. He worked for (in order) Data East, Sammy, Sega, SuperSweep and Unique Note.

He entered Sega in 1996 as a design engineer following his university studies in Acoustic Engineering and surround sound technology. His success in simulating the sounds of a car engine allowed him to be the sound designer for Le Mans 24. He has also provided 5.1ch sound system support for some of the games he was involved with.

He has recently joined Unique Note Co., Ltd., a sound production company formed by two former Capcom sound designers.
