Mega PC

Hello, it seems there was a misunderstanding that "WDC" referred to Western Design Center, when in reality in this case it is Western Digital Corporation. Western Digital at the time were in the business of making PC chipsets and graphics controllers alongside their HDD business, but Western Design Center were not (they're mainly known for 65xx CPUs and microcontrollers).

For example, you can see this Western Digital databook lists the WD90C11A graphics controller http://bitsavers.trailing-edge.com/components/westernDigital/_dataBooks/1992_SystemLogic_Imaging_Storage/00_Introduction.pdf

You can also see the logo on the "WDC" ICs on the motherboard is that of Western Digital (like this).

I've updated the page accordingly. --Zilog Jones (talk) 09:12, 27 April 2023 (EDT)
