From Sega Retro

To do

  • There was a South Korean MSX port in development by Zemina.[1]
  • Disambig page for navigating to this game's various ports.
  • Migrate Easter Eggs section to hidden content.
  • Document the two remaining bugs from part 3 of the 3D OutRun interview.
  • Add unused content from TCRF and here.

I love you too, Sega. Good night, sleep tight! Despatche (talk) 02:22, 10 October 2015 (CDT)

VGMDB name their pages after what they can see on the front cover, not necessarily by the album's official title - see capital letters -Black Squirrel (talk) 04:07, 10 October 2015 (CDT)
Sigh... On the contrary. Nine times out of ten, they look to the spine or to some other means of print. These are digital albums, and these titles are what's used on the iTunes store. By the way, it's funny how you had to find a totally different album to argue some point about capital letters... which are used all the time in Japan, and a good amount in other countries, for game titles.
Yes, I am really frustrated that you've rejected every single bit of evidence, damning evidence, that I can find, just because of some anecdotal and context-less nonsense. I left Wikipedia precisely because I got sick of this happening again and again and again and again, wasting all that free time I had. People call me autistic or anal or any of those other memes when I'm the one who just wants to put another obvious title fix behind me, that sticks out like a sore thumb to anyone who actually cares 1% about the words they type, and move on to other things. Those albums should be changed to "Out Run" if that's what they're calling them on iTunes and Amazon. It doesn't affect the game's title though. - Hivebrain (talk) 15:35, 26 October 2015 (CDT)
Honest I can assure you VGMDB are crap at names, however if the space is listed on Amazon and iTunes, then that's fair enough, as that indicates Sega officially calls these albums "Out Run" (that is, unless, Sega are referring it to a different name elsewhere - I can't be arsed to check right now so I'll assume not).
The game OutRun (or "Out Run" or "Outrun" or "OUT RUN" or "OUTRUN" or "アウトラン") has been released and officially referred to under so many slight variations, that we really do have to choose either the most common or a nice compromise. "OutRun" is generally both.
Block caps kill readability and I don't want to do that. And in page titles in particular - while MediaWiki has evolved a bit since the old days, there are still places where it will order things "ABCDabcd" rather than "AaBbCcDd". -Black Squirrel (talk) 16:45, 26 October 2015 (CDT)
