Yasuyuki Nagata (永田 泰之) is a Sega sound composer and part of the AM2 department. His first project was for Virtua Fighter 5 R, the first of two revisions for the original title and would later act as a main composer for Shining Force Cross. He tends to works with Kazuki Takagi.

Nagata enjoys electronic music, such as music published by Warp Records and Brainfeeder. He is also influenced by the live shows DBS (Drum & Bass Sessions) have performed at Daikanyama Unit.[1]
