The Joypolis in Yokohama was the first Joypolis indoor theme park to be opened by Sega.
The Yokohama branch is thought to have been closed or significantly downscaled in the late 1990s due to financial restraints. It currently lacks the majority of the large scale attractions operating when it first opened.
