Kazuyuki Shibata (柴田 和幸) was a graphic designer at Sega, known for his work on the Phantasy Star series under the name Chaotic Kaz.

He is a fan of table top RPG miniatures, referencing them for the monsters designs in Phantasy Star. He has also sculpted miniatures himself, such as one of Nei from Phantasy Star II which is owned by Tokuhiko Uwabo.
