Mega Drive version
The Western versions include a ™ symbol next to the Sega logo.
In PAL regions, the game is sponsored by Coca-Cola, as was the 1992 Olympics Games as a whole.
While neither country's flag can truly represent the concept of the English language, the United Kingdom is snubbed in the NTSC releases of the game in favour of the United States.
Hang around on the main menu for a while and a blimp will appear from the right hand side. In the NTSC versions, it can either be a sponsor for U.S. Gold or Sega, while the PAL includes a third, Coke.
An "Always Coca-Cola" jingle plays when an event finishes in the PAL version.
