Great Ice Hockey

Are we sure this saw a Japanese release? I don't see it on Sega's list and the cart design looks more like the American ones — my ROM set says there was a Japanese release, though... - Andlabs 08:22, 15 July 2011 (CDT)

From what I gather it's one of the few Japanese releases to adopt the white grid-style packaging. It came in a no-frills cardboard box which leads me to think it might have been a pack-in game with the Sports Pad, though apparently there's another story that says 1000 copies were distributed in 1987 from a BEEP magazine contest. It's something that'll need looking into at a later date. So yes, real, but rare. -Black Squirrel 08:28, 15 July 2011 (CDT)
