This page on one of the company's Sailor Moon papercraft CD-ROM releases mentions its 1997 release as being extremely limited, and that the company soon went out of business. Inner Brain's website was online as recently as late 1999, and possibly into early 2000. It wasn't 1997, because there are a few of their releases with mid 1998 copyrights.
However, more telling is that by 2001, their popular Active Mascot series had been transferred to NTT, along with all the FAQs and support pages etc.[1] A late 1999 mention is the last I could associate between Inner Brain and Active Mascot.
Also, semi-related: the non-archived version of the Moon Sisters page has a scan of a credits page from the software's manual. Might be neat looking into.
