Virtual Hydlide (ヴァーチャル ハイドライド) is an entry in the Hydlide series of Action RPGs. It was released exclusively for the Sega Saturn in 1995.

Virtual Hydlide is a reimagining of the original 1984 Hydlide, with 2.5D graphics and pseudo-randomly generated worlds. There are twenty different level layouts for each of the seven dungeons (and overworld), leading to 25.6 billion possible combinations, all but guaranteeing that each playthrough of Virtual Hydlide is different.

The game has been criticised by the gaming press for having poor AI and a bad rendering pipeline, occasionally causing the game to dip to as low as 5FPS.
