Initially released in 1995, it is a motorbike racing game where players race around the Isle of Man TT circuit. Eight arcade cabinets could be linked together, similar to Daytona USA.

There is a code that allows racers to play as sheep.

The game was brought to the Sega Saturn in 1997 by Psygnosis and Tantalus Interactive, and brought to Windows by Perfect Entertainment. These versions were distributed under the Sega Sports name, and feature a Redbook audio soundtrack. The PC version has various other improvements such as higher resolution graphics and improved sound. Many of the unsold Manx TT Superbike arcade cabinets were converted into Motor Raid ones.
