The SBom Multitap is a third-party Sega Saturn multitap developed and published by Hudson Soft. Constructed with a distinctive Bomberman-themed shell and frequently bundled with Saturn Bomberman and the SBom Joycard, it was released exclusively in Japan in 1996. The multitap is Hudson Soft's version of the first-party Sega Saturn 6 Player Multiplayer Adapter and is compatible with the same games, featuring six controller ports for use in select multiplayer games.
Up to two multitaps can be inserted into the Sega Saturn at the same time, allowing for large-scale multiplayer matches like Saturn Bomberman's 10-player battle mode.[1]
