Mega Drive bootleg games in Russia (New Game; "16 Битный картридж" releases)
From Sega Retro
Probably the first translated covers into Russian were designed by Virt (whose trademarked was registered by Padis/New Game[1]) and the description was created by Great Dragon magazine. They were released from around 1998 and sold later in early 2000s.
Early design
The first design of the box, from the late 90s. At the top there is the Mega Drive logo with the name of the console changed to the name of the genre of the game like Sega Боевик 16 Битный картридж or Sega стратегия 16 Битный картридж
