Amegedon is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive fighting game developed by Softmax.[1] Based on the titular South Korean science fiction manga Amegedon, and planned as one of numerous multimedia properties to be launched around the release of the manga's 1990's animated film adaptation (collectively known as the Amegedon Project), it appears planning only progressed enough to see the release of some promotional artwork and target renders before being ultimately cancelled.[1]
History
While Softmax's Mega Drive fighting game would ultimately go undeveloped, a second game under the Amegedon Project banner would be released for IBM PCs: 1996's Armageddon: Hondon Sog-euro (아마게돈: 혼돈 속으로).[2]
