The Elder Scrolls: Arena is the first entry in the The Elder Scrolls series of RPGs, originally released for the IBM PC in 1994. Both Sega Saturn and PlayStation conversions were planned, but never materialised.
In Japan, the game was given the tentative name of Arena (アリーナ) with early material shown in some magazines (and given a price of ¥7,800[1]), however an North American version under its original title was also planned[3].
