BreakThru! is an unreleased Sega Game Gear puzzle game developed by Realtime Associates. A port of Zoo Corporation's 1990 Unix puzzle game The Wall, that version's publisher - Spectrum HoloByte - had plans to bring BreakThru! to both the Genesis and Game Gear in North America in 1994.[1] While the Genesis version actually ended up being broadcast to American Sega Channel subscribers in late 1996,[2][3] the Game Gear version remained unreleased.

History

In August 2021, a late prototype of the Game Gear version was dumped from loose EPROMs recovered by the Video Game History Foundation on behalf of an anonymous collector, and publicly released on the SMS Power! forums.[4]
