Last Action Hero was a planned Sega Mega-CD game[3][4] based on the 1993 film of the same name.

Unlike the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear versions of the game, this Mega-CD version was being developed by Psygnosis[1] and would have used similar technology to the Mega-CD version of Bram Stoker's Dracula, using pre-rendered FMV backgrounds created on Silicon Graphics workstations.

It is not thought this version of the game was ever shown publically, and was quietly cancelled at some point during 1993 or 1994.
