Battle Mission is an unreleased shoot-'em-up game for the Sega Mega Drive.

The game takes place in World War II, in which the main character washes up ashore on a Pacific island and has to fight enemy troops in an attempt to escape. There would have been different endings depending on the player's skill[1].

Few details are known about Battle Mission - screenshots depict a game similar to Operation Wolf, however its 1990 copyright pre-dates the system's official light gun, the Menacer by two years. Renovation Products was set to publish the game in North America, but planned releases in other territories have not been confirmed.

Battle Mission was officially cancelled around the middle of 1990[2].
