Triton (formerly Xega) is a Mega Drive, Mega CD and Mega 32X emulator for Microsoft Windows running under DirectX 8.0 by Michel Gerritse. In 2006, development of Xega was stopped, and a new emulator project, aiming to emulate several different Sega systems in one program, was started: Triton. However, the last publicly posted update of the newer project was in May 2007, leaving its continuation in question.
