The Hitachi SH-4 Demo Disc is a Sega Dreamcast disc demonstrating the capabilities of Hitachi's SH-4 processor.
This disc was not released to the public - only to clients thinking of doing business with Hitachi and implement the SH-4 into their own projects. The move was thought to be a more convenient alternative than to manufacture physical testing boards - if the client wanted to see what the SH-4 was capable of (and owned a Japanese Dreamcast), he/she could cycle through pre-made tech demos.
Very few copies were manufactured, making it one of the rarest pieces of Dreamcast software in existence.
