Cartoon Gun (カーツン・ガン), is a discrete logic arcade game released by Sega in 1977. It is a shooting game.
Gameplay
This game features a comical theme, with the ability to hit bins, birds, wild rabbits and a quick duck as targets. The gun mechanism uses a mirror to detect light from the television monitor in order to determine a hit. When a target is hit, a sound is played, English words are displayed on the screen, and the target falls with a comical animation.
A bullet indicator is present on the screen, and there is a small pause for reloading after six shots. The game time is 40 to 70 seconds long, with a 30-second extension available after 5000 to 9000 points, depending on the machine's settings.
