The 8-bit version of Heavyweight Champ was released several times under different banners. They all play the same, they all sound the same, but each has slightly different graphics. The game is thought to have started as James "Buster" Douglas Knockout Boxing before becoming Heavyweight Champ and then George Foreman's KO Boxing.
The Game Gear version sees fit to credit the 1976 version of Heavyweight Champ, although there is no obvious relation other than name (and the fact they're both boxing games).
