:In TCRF's case, this is more of an exercise in finding unnecessary references, as opposed to "bad" ones. On Sonic Retro we have lists of unused content, which point to TCRF's lists of unused content. I don't think that's necessarily something that needs to be proven, for the same reason we don't need to prove that Chemical Plant Zone exists in Sonic 2 (and some of their stuff came from us anyway, because it's all free and we like to share).

The Cutting Room Floor

If The Cutting Room Floor is considered bad reference material, wouldn't that cause an issue when it comes to documenting hidden content originally found by TCRF? I feel that chances are, this could lead to Retro getting accusations of not crediting TCRF for their own research. --SorachiJirachi (talk) 13:34, 2 April 2019 (EDT)

In TCRF's case, this is more of an exercise in finding unnecessary references, as opposed to "bad" ones.
I'm not expecting it to match anything on Sega Retro (yet) - I just want to keep things consistent for when and if a shared inter-wiki template system comes into play -Black Squirrel (talk) 14:26, 2 April 2019 (EDT)
