Once upon a time I wrote an article about this game. It's dated and I no longer like my choice of words, but until this point I don't think anyone had ever looked at the game in any detail.
Back in the day I didn't know the whole story about these sorts of releases but one thing that did grab my attention was the SNES port, which at the time at least was sometimes being labeled as public domain. I'm not sure if it was ever a public domain release, but if it was... this Mega Drive version could be too (the Mega Drive ROM has always been labeled (Unl) though).
