Founded in 1984 by husband and wife Kazuhiko Ito (伊藤和彦) and Midori Ito (伊藤みどり)[1][5], Falcon was officially incorporated in December 1998[1], and shared a close relationship with fellow developer Micro Cabin (which often did programming work for Falcon's games.[6])

Falcon currently co-owns the intellectual property of former game developer Thinking Rabbit, developers of the critically-acclaimed puzzle game Sokoban.[7]
