The 1976 release of Heavyweight Champ is a discrete logic arcade fighting game released by Sega. It was later remade as the more commonly known Heavyweight Champ from 1987.

To play, the game, grab the controller in the shape of a glove, move it up and down to change the arm height, push it in and release it. Eat a punch and the player's character goes down with a comical sound. The number of downs is displayed on the screen. The closer you hit the opponent, the higher the score value is—and a score for a right punch is twice as high as the left punch. The game ends in 45-80 seconds.
