Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is a 2D platform game and the first in the Oddworld series. It was released for DOS and Windows PCs as well as the PlayStation console in 1997.
A Sega Saturn port of the game was planned, but cancelled for unknown reasons. It is thought that Sega themselves acquired the rights to produce the Saturn version of the game from GT Interactive Software, however no Saturn version ever materialised.
