PlanetWeb, Inc. was a California-based software company specialized in applications and development tools for embedded devices.
PlanetWeb developed[2] both the Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast web browsers in North America. They used to maintain a Dreamcast web portal (dreamcast.planetweb.com), which was closed after deciding that too few people were using it.
PlanetWeb was acquired on late 2009 by Monotype Imaging, and have discontinued support for Saturn and Dreamcast products.
