Rival company SC&T abandoned the European video game peripheral market in August 1999, and Maxplay took over the redistribution of SC&T products[1].
In 2001 it merged with Newtech Electronics to form In Store Solutions Manufacturing (ISS Manufacturing)[2]. The Maxplay brand continued to be used for a short period before being dropped, likely as ISS left the gaming market.
