Dragonquest is a text adventure game for SC-3000. It was released exclusively in Australia.

Plot

Gather gold from the caves of the Dwarvendelf people. Keep your wits about you, there are many dangerous dragons ready to do their worst.

Gameplay

The player starts with 35 "fortitude" points, which are spent on actions. Standard actions like moving and firing arrows use up one point, while using a "Magic Cave" (teleport to another dungeon) uses five points.

The player gets a peek at the map, and must memorise their location and the next few moves. Then the map goes dark, and the player must work from memory until the next glimpse.

The aim is to get to $1000 gold, and then start afresh with extra fortitude and arrows. The player can come across bottomless pits that end in instant death, or dragons that result in the same. Dragons, however, can be attacked with arrows (requiring a random amount each time) and killed.
