History

In Japan, the game released in March 1984. On the Game Machine arcade charts, it reached number 10 in June 1984.[3][4]

In US, very little is understood about this game. While Albegas discs have been spotted, it is assumed that the game did not make it into full production, possibly failing its location test or not making it past the prototype stage. The Cybernaut name was for overseas markets - in the US this would have been likely distributed by Bally Midway. Supposedly the game was set to be sold as a conversion kit to Galaxy Ranger, and is dated 1984.
