Career
A self taught musician, Brotherton became a member of OverClocked (OC) ReMix in 2001 (as LeeBro), where he made four ReMixes based off different titles in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He later set up the production house Remix Factory. In 2005, Jun Senoue discovered (and subsequently hired) him to remix music for an actual Sonic game (Shadow the Hedgehog) for the first of many times.
Brotherton's contributions to the Sonic series range from in-game music to soundtrack-exclusive releases to fan-produced events.
In 2010, So Much More..., one of his self-produced singles, was used as the main theme of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
Since late 2007 he has gone by his stage name, Bentley Jones (ベントレー・ジョーンズ) as a means of segregating himself from the Remix Factory and digressing into the J-Pop genre.
