The 1996 release of Tecmo Super Bowl (テクモスーパーボウル) is a PlayStation release in the Tecmo Super Bowl series of American football games by Tecmo. A Sega Saturn version was once in development and advertised in North America for release in September 1996, but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
Internally the game was known as Tecmo Super Bowl 3 (not to be confused with Tecmo Super Bowl III: Final Edition).
