Rovio Entertainment Corporation is a studio founded in 2003 in Finland best known for the Angry Birds series. They also made the games Anthelion and Splash Bash for Sega's HELP THE GAME in 2016.
On April 14, 2023 it was leaked that Sega was looking to acquire the company,[1] and on April 17, 2023, Sega confirmed that they were pursuing the deal.[2][3] On August 18, 2023, Sega would confirm that they had acquired the studio.[4]
