Luxoflux is an American developer, founded in 1997 by Peter Morawiec and Adrian Stephens, who previously worked on Comix Zone at Sega Technical Institute. The company was known for the Vigilante 8 and True Crime series of games, and mainly worked for Activision, who later purchased them in 2002. After licensed titles such as Shrek 2 and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Activision shut down the company in early 2010. Morawiec and Stephens had left the company in 2007 and founded Isopod Labs, who developed Vigilante 8 Arcade.
