Model 2 Emulator is a Sega Model 2 arcade emulator written by Elsemi[1]. It allows PC users to play SEGA Model 2 games on Computers that contains a full compatibility of games and requires Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher and non powerful PC's to run games. This is a very popular emulator because most people who have MAME are very disappointed because the games don't work really well so people would stick with this emulator instead. The project started in the early 2000's by the same man who wrote the Nebula emulators like the Cps2, Neogeo, Pgm And Konami Emulators. According some sources,Elsemi isn't involved with the emulator as of now that he was hired at SEGA to work on the Sonic CD port for PSN and XBLA. Currently, there isn't a new version planned but in the future it is possible.
