The Dreamcast fishing controller is a specialized peripheral for the Sega Dreamcast shaped like a fisherman's rod. The controller was made to use with games such as Sega Bass Fishing, Sega Bass Fishing 2, Sega Marine Fishing and Reel Fishing Wild. The controller uses motion sensitivity to cast a line, vibrates when a fish is caught on the line and has a reel winder on the side for reeling in fish. The controller, however, was not compatible for the Big the Cat's fishing sections in Sonic Adventure.
Interestingly, it was discovered that the fishing controller, when used in conjunction with Virtua Tennis, allows the player to play the game in a Wii Tennis-esque fashion.
