The Matrix Online is a 2005 massively-multiplayer online RPG that ties into the The Matrix series of films. It was developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sega and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Sony Online Entertainment ran the servers, which shut down in 2009.[2]
