Attack is a 1970 tank driving game where the player controls a small remote tank. The player uses the gun barrel of the tank to hit the lit targets at each edge of the playfield. Each hit target is worth a point.
It was one of the first vehicle combat arcade games, along with Dodgem Crazy (1970). Sega recycled this game a few times with slightly different themes. The game was reissued in Japan as Attack II in 1971. Lunar Rescue (1972) is essentially the same game.
Additional medals for Attack machines could be purchased from Sega Enterprises for ¥18,000 per 1,000 medals.
