Attack is a 1970 tank driving game where the player controls a small remote tank. The player uses the gun barrel of the tank to hit the lit targets at each edge of the playfield. Each hit target is worth a point.
It was one of the first driving combat arcade games, along with Dodgem Crazy (1970). Sega recycled this game a few times with slightly different themes. The game was reissued in Japan as Attack II in 1971. It is a similar game to Lunar Rescue (1972).
Additional medals for Attack machines could be purchased from Sega Enterprises for ¥18,000 per 1,000 medals.[4]
