Boozometer is a 1968 Skin the Wire tabletop bar game manufactured by Sega[2], acting as a way to “test sobriety” in players by challenging them through a coin deposit. The game is played by moving the ring over the rail, attempting to avoid contact. Should the ring touch the rail, a bell sounds and the coin drops into the cash box. If the player is sober and reaches the far end, their coin will be refunded by pushing the return coin button. The same year, Taito released a similar arcade game of the same name.[3]
