The United States edition of Sega Force was a magazine distributed within or as a suppliment to Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM), and its spin-off, EGM² during the early 1990s. Unlike EGM which was a multi-platform magazine, Sega Force concentrated solely on Sega systems, particularly the Sega Mega Drive (and its add-ons), Sega Game Gear and Sega Saturn.
Sega Force releases were irregular, and the fact the supplement was carried in two magazines leads to further confusion. Issues seem to have been roughly bi-annual between late 1992 and 1995. Specifically which issues came with which magazine is not yet fully understood. Some are definitely known to have been contained within copies of EGM - that is to say, despite having its own cover and numbering scheme, it still counts towards EGM's total page count. Others are likely to have been separate booklets.
For the most part, Sega Force only covered Sega-related news and game previews. Full game reviews were handled by EGM.
