Jupiter is a Japanese game and hardware development studio that focuses on handheld consoles. It is based in Kyoto, though they have a secondary branch in Tokyo. Its contribution to the Sonic franchise so far is Sonic Pinball Party. Beforehand, the company was responsible for the similarly themed Pokémon Pinball for the Game Boy.
